£900 each raised for Chorley Help The Homeless and Fan Ownership Fund
Seven Chorley supporters walked from Victory Park in Chorley to Broadhurst Park in Manchester on Boxing Day. The 24 mile hike in aid of Chorley Help the Homeless and the Fan Ownership Fund started at 5:15 am, long before dawn. We had a break for breakfast in Bolton and arrived in Manchester just in time for kick-off. Fortunately the game went very much in our favour, as our efforts were rewarded with a 4-1 victory.
So far 47 people have sponsored us online, and many others threw money into our collecting buckets at the game. We have raised £1800 for our good causes so far and there’s still time to donate if you would like to support us. You can read all about the fundraising appeal and donate here.
