Dunston FA Cup triumph raises a record £95 for youth development
Two goals and a clean sheet made this the biggest game yet for pledges, store beating the £86.50 raised in the 3-0 victory over Bradford Park Avenue early in the season. In addition to the usual suspects of £1 per goal and £2 per clean sheet, check Chorley’s youth development benefited from some FA Cup specific pledges, including Neil Hailwood’s doubling of his 50p per goal scored by a player in an odd numbered shirt.
You might have seen that the first £500 raised from these pledges has already been handed over the the club – there was a cheque presented on the pitch before the Salford City match. If we can get ten more people pledging, we’ll be very confident of raising the full £3000 we aim to give the club this season.
