Chorley Council set to become the new owner of Victory Park
We welcome the proposed transfer of Victory Park into the ownership of Chorley Council. This is a commendable move on the part of the current owners, ambulance Northern Trust, visit this site and is in the best interests of the football club. This development opens up the possibility of a long-term lease agreement, 40mg which would allow Chorley FC to access public funds for ground improvements, and plan for a stable future.
Trust Chair Ryan Modlin said:
I’m sure that the Council will make excellent landlords. A successful football club is good for the town as a whole, attracting more visitors and raising the town’s profile. The club and the council can now work more closely together, which has to be good news.
The deal has not yet been finalised yet and we await with interest further developments. You can read the latest statement from the football club here: New landlord for Magpies
The Trust has always believed that supporter ownership is the best way forward for Chorley FC, and will continue to work towards becoming the next owners of our football club.
