Latest NewsOver the last two weekends members from the Trust made the journeys to both Bamber Bridge and Euxton Villa on foot in a sponsored event to raise money for two fantastic causes.

We are pleased to announce that after sponsorship money has been collected and the buckets empted we are given the superb total of £400. All money collected from the walks will be split equally between local charity Chorley Mencap which is based just off Stump Lane and our own Fan Ownership Fund.

Trust chairman Ryan had this to say: “What a tremendous effort from all involved. £200 is a significant donation to a local charity and also gets the Fan Ownership Fund off to a great start.”

Event organiser Julian added: “Doing these walks give the Trust a great chance to raise money for local charities in the area and it gives me great pleasure each year to know I’m doing my bit to support worthy causes. Of course we wouldn’t have been able to raise the money without the fantastic support that we got from the crowd at both Bamber Bridge and Euxton, information pills thank you for your support.”

This walk does not end the Trust’s involvement with charities for the next 12 months as another event is planned for early next year. More details will be announced in due course.
