Runshaw clean up Victory Park

Runshaw clean up Victory Park

October 15, 2014 Project 0

Over the last four weeks the Chorley Nissan Victory Park Stadium has undergone a fresh look thanks to a enthusiastic and hard working group of students from Runshaw College in Leyland. Last week they finished their four session placement helping to brighten up our home ground.

Organiser Paul Brennan from Chorley Supporters Trust had this to say:

Many areas that needed a freshen-up with a coat of white (or black) paint were given a good lickof emulsion including the pitch perimeter fence posts and the rear wall of the main stand. They also did a great job weeding and sweeping the ground entrance.

We would like to thank Asda in Chorley for providing the materials and also Trust member Dave Perris for helping to organise the work party.

Also a big thank you to the Runshaw students and staff. We hope to see you back at Victory Park soon!
