Bamber Bridge Sponsored Walk
The summer has well and truly arrived in the UK and members of Chorley FC Supporters Trust are taking full advantage of what we hope will be a glorious summer. On Saturday 19th July Chorley FC take the short trip down the A6 to face Evo-Stik Division One North Play-off finalists Bamber Bridge at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium. The relatively short car journey will be turned into a 2 hour walk for some supporters.
Some board members from the Trust will be travelling to the game by walking the 7 mile route. Not only will they be walking but the theme for the day is beach wear. The Bamber Bridge game has fallen when we are supposed to be having one of our hottest months of the year, clinic therefore the walkers shall be reflecting this. Come rain or shine, beach wear shall be seen on this walk and maybe a few inflatables too!
Last year the Trust paid for the disabled access ramp to be installed at Victory Park, making the access into the social club far easier for spectators. The ramp has already been used quite a few times over the last few weeks. This season the Trust have not yet stated what they are aiming to do for the club, but if you have any ideas then let us know via any of our media outlets or by attending one of our monthly meetings.
Anyone is welcome to join the walk as we leave Victory Park at 11:00am and hope to be at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium by 2pm (With possibly a few stops between to refresh ourselves!). Those wanting to join please email email@example.com to get a sponsorship form.
You can sponsor the walkers by donating via our PayPal account firstname.lastname@example.org or by clicking the donate button on the right hand side of the website.
