Bamber Bridge & Euxton Sponsored Walks

June 30, 2015 Event Latest News 0

Latest NewsThe annual fixtures against Bamber Bridge and Euxton Villa are a perfect opportunity for a short and quick journey. Members of the Trust will certainly will be making the short journey to both of these games but it may not be all that quick as they set out to raise as much as they can for various good causes.

On Sunday, store  Trust treasurer JP raised money for local children’s charity Derian House as he took part in the Lancashire Pennine 10k run around Towneley Park in Burnley. He was joined by two other board members, John Derbyshire and Paul Brennan who raised money for nationwide charity, Macmillan Cancer Support. Not forgetting Chorley first team physio Danny Fishwick who participated to raise awareness of the local Twincess charity and also managed to achieve a new personal best.

This season we are very much focussing our charitable attentions locally and seeing where we can make a difference in Chorley.

The money raised from both of the sponsored walks during pre season will be split equally between Chorley Mencap based just off Stump Lane and the Fan Ownership campaign as we look to increase the funds held to one day complete our main objective.
